Swarovski have been making precision-cut crystal glass since 1895 when the company was founded by Armand Kosman and Franz Weis using Daniel Swarovski's expertise at glass-cutting and his family name.
Swarovski crystals are widely sought after and extremely collectable. The British television program, Dancing on Ice, have used Swarovski crystals in their costumes.
It is not surprising that Swarovski items are so highly sought after as there is usually something for everyone. Collections range from crystal animals, crystal fish, insects and butterflies through to dinner centre pieces and Swarovski jewellery.
Many Swarovski items are only available new for a limited time, after which they are retired. One of the best places for obtaining retired items is on eBay, so each page on this site will display current auctions of relevant pieces.
